BODIcafé Black Bean Patty

Ingredients

500g cooked BODIcafé Black Beans

1/3 cup chopped onion

¼ cup finely chopped green pepper

1 tbsp crushed garlic
-
1 grated carrot
-
1 cup brown bread crumbs

1 tsp ground cumin
-
¼ cup brown bread flower
-
1 tsp chilli powder
-
3 tbsp chilli paste

¼ tsp salt
Method

Preheat oven to 180˚C Heat and prepare a baking tray with spray and cook

Mash beans in a bowl and set aside.

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat

Add onion and cook until it is translucent

Add garlic and cumin and cook for 2 min

Add carrots and peppers and cook for 5 min. (carrots should still be crunchy)

Stir carrot mixture into the mashed bean
-
Add the brown bread flower and bread crumbs and mix through Roll into balls and shape in the form of a patty
-
Place on baking tray and bake in oven for 20 min
